Bright Beginnings Preschool exists to assist parents in our congregations and communities in their God-given responsibility to bring their children up "in the training and instruction of the Lord." At Bright Beginnings, we believe a solid family-school relationship is essential for a child to reach his or her absolute potential. We strive to build the foundation of that relationship early. We are eager to learn more about the needs and desires of your family, and also to share more about what may make our school the right fit for your child.

Three Year Old Classes

Our three-year-old preschool is offered two mornings a week on our Menasha campus located at Bethel Lutheran Church. A major emphasis for this class is teaching social skills. As these little ones enter what is usually their first group situation, they are exposed to sharing, taking turns, and respecting the rights and property of others. Physically, they are challenged by movement games, moving to music, and other activities to help them develop their motor skills. Academically, each child is accepted at his or her own level and encouraged from that point with pre-reading and pre-math activities, artistic expression, and verbal skills. Spiritually, they are introduced to God, who loves and cares for them.

Four Year Old Classes

We offer four-year-old classes three mornings a week at our Menasha campus. These classes seek to meet the changing developmental needs of each child. The children are encouraged to progress in various skills and to find success in their accomplishments. The stories are longer and the games are slightly more complex than the three-year-old program. There are new activities in the areas of pre-reading and pre-math and many activities to encourage small motor development. Spiritually the children are taught about a Lord who cares for them and shows His love in countless ways. They are encouraged to respond to this love in songs and prayer.
